Job Description:

As a member of the Data Mining team, will apply advanced pattern
recognition techniques to develop fraud detection models for
e-commerce. Will work closely with the FraudShieldtm development team
to integrate scoring models and detection rules in the ClearCommerce
fraud protection engine, as well as with the Professional Services
organization to develop specialized detection models for major
customers.  However, the key trait of the ideal candidate is the
ability to focus on the business problem and leverage technology to
deliver tangible results.

Minimum Qualifications:

* MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or
  related fields

* Strong technical background in machine learning, statistics and
  neural networks and a solid understanding of the data mining process.

* Minimum 3 years working experience in data mining and statistical
  modeling

* Excellent knowledge of multiple modeling techniques, including
  neural networks, decision trees and clustering

* Familiarity with modeling tools like SAS, Clementine, Intelligent
  Miner, etc.

* Programming skills in C, Perl and SQL

* Must be self-motivated and able to work independently

* Good verbal and written communications skills

Highly Desired:

* PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or
  related fields

* Prior exposure to fraud detection, in particular credit card fraud
