Advanced Development Engineer
The Advanced Development Engineer will be responsible for developing
real-time pattern recognition and adaptive control systems that enhance
the online user experience in areas such as personalization and search.
Responsibilities of this position include: developing efficient algorithms
for real-time pattern recognition; developing adaptive control techniques
to drive optimal customer interaction decisions;  architecting and
implementing highly scalable systems capable of gathering and processing
large amounts of real-time data.

Qualifications
        *       MS  in Computer Science or  equivalent.
        *       2 years of experience developing data mining algorithms
                and implementing scalable software systems.
        *       Knowledge of data mining techniques for
                structured and/or unstructured (i.e. text) data.
        *       Knowledge of statistical data modeling and machine
                learning techniques (especially Bayesian approaches).
        *       Experience with database systems, SQL, triggers,
                indexing, schema design, tuning.
        *       Experience developing scalable software systems with
                Unix, C/C++ and/or Java.
        *       Strong knowledge of Internet technologies, CGI, Perl.
        *       Plus would be experience in system architecture
                and/or concurrent programming.
        *       Plus would be experience in full software.

                implementation, testing).
        *       Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, ability
                to work well in a close-knit team.
        *       Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, demanding
                start-up environment.
