Subject: Tenure-track position, School of Operations Research, Cornell University
A tenure-track or tenured faculty position in data mining is available
in the School of Operations Research and Industrial Engineering at
Cornell University.

Rank will depend on experience and qualifications.  A PhD is
statistics, operations research, computer science or a related
discipline is required.

Applicants should be willing to develop courses and supervise masters
projects in data mining and to interact with business and industry as
well as with statisticians across campus.  Excellence in research is
required.  Research speciality is open.  ORIE also has an open position
in statistics (see URL below) and candidates can apply for both
positions with one application.

Applicants should send a c.v. with supporting materials and arrange for
four letters of recommendation to be sent to Statistics Search
Committee, School of ORIE, Rhodes Hall, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY
