POSITION SUMMARY
Contribute to the design and development of Applied Technical Systems
correlation data engine and interfaces.  Assist the Chief Scientist
with the design and development of Knowledge Management and Topic Map
products.  And be prepared to change the world of information
navigation and retrieval.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Research new information management and knowledge discovery technologies to
	 incorporate into ATS products.
Develop creative, innovative solutions for complex data management problems.
Work collaboratively with a team of developers to build and deliver high-end
     software in a tight development cycle.
Independently develop and deliver significant software product components.
Identify evolving XML standards for incorporation into ATS products.

QUALIFICATIONS
CS degree or equivalent; Masters degree preferred.
4-5 years software engineering experience.
Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
Experience with C++, COM, Java, XML.
Mastery of relational database systems, engineering, and
modeling concepts.
Proficient with programming in Windows, Solaris, and Linux environments.

DESIRABLE SKILLS
Knowledge of distributed web application architectures.
GUI development for Unix and/or Linux clients.
ODBC programming experience.
