This person will be responsible for
research and development of algorithms for analytic data
mining, machine learning, and statistics, to support
knowledge discovery in databases and business
intelligence applications. The work involves development of enhancements
to the MineSet Data Mining and Visualization tool suite to support
improved functionality and efficiency. It will also be important to
communicate an understanding of these algorithms to third parties
developing business intelligence applications with MineSet.

Required:  Ph.D. or MS in Computer Science or related discipline with
concentration in data mining or machine learning.  Knowledge of
relational databases. Experience with C++ or Java.
Desirable:  Experience with software development on Unix and Windows NT.
Experience with COM or Corba.
