Siebel released three products with its eBusiness 2000.3 upgrade. They included Siebel Analytics, Siebel Marketing and Siebel eMarketing. Siebel Analytics fosters data mining capabilities; Siebel Marketing manages campaigns across multiple channels; and Siebel eMarketing is a stand-alone subset of the marketing application targeted for users who only need to manage Web-based and e-mail campaigns. Siebel Analytics integrates technology from Business Objects and Informatica to give users an out-of-the-box data mining and data warehousing solution tied into a Siebel front end. The application also uses open APIs that enable users to extract data from other databases as well as use third-party business analytic tools.
