A a world wide consulting firm with over 1500 employees and a 30% per year growth record, is looking to add a risk analyst to its growing mortgage consulting unit.

SAS programming skills are required to extract data from large datasets of mortgage information. There may be 50,000 files that need to be examined for information.

Working with Microsoft and Excel spreadsheets, you will examine large datasets from mortgage companies to determine trends and economic impacts. You will work with other highly trained and educated analysts working within other industry groups. This is a great opportunity for professionals who enjoy philosophical banter.

Preference will be given those candidates with the following experience: 2-4 years of SAS in general. Knowledge and hands on experience with the following:

• All basic SAS PROCedures.... Data Steps, Sorts, Prints, Tabulates, Freqs, Means, Summaries, etc.
• Macro programming skills
• Some experience with SAS/AF (creating Graphical Screens to control programs, buttons, etc.)
• Some exposure to modeling with SAS using Regression, Stats, Logistic, etc.
• building models (cash flow analysis or structure analysis) and mortgage industry experience.

Compensation: commensurate with experience, $40-70,000
