Company: This company develops innovative software and solutions in the for bioinformatics data exploration and analysis. The company is well funded and is pre-IPO. Bioinformatics is an excellent area which is expected to grow in the current environment.

Position: the Biostatistician will join the group which is providing data exploration, analysis and mining services in the area of bioinformatics. Sample tasks include analyzing DNA microarray data sets and Gene expression data.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Statistics or a similar field
• Strong analytical skills
• At least 2 years of experience in bio-statistics
• Experience dealing with DNA microarray data and gene expression data desirable
• Good knowledge of the design of experiments

Salary range will depend on the experience. Additional benefits include stock options.
