PeopleSoft Inc., (NASDAQ:PSFT) the Pleasanton, Calif.-based Internet business software provider, today announced an agreement to purchase the intellectual property and certain assets of Mountain View, Calif.-based Annuncio Software Inc.

PeopleSoft's CRM suite will add new online personalization marking campaign functionality thanks to the acquisition of Annuncio Technology. Annuncio's software sends personalized advertisements to customers through e-mail, Web links, banner ads and direct mail.
