Position Description:

  • Create, evaluate, test, and support statistical and data model designs for predictive models to solve business problems using the latest technologies in neural networks, machine learning, statistical modeling, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence
  • Create predictive models to understand program impacts and consumer behaviors to identify and predict health care and consumer behavior trends
  • Make recommendations to business analysts based on analysis results
  • Support consultancy and sales efforts with knowledge of data analysis and statistical and analytical methods
  • Interface with other functional areas (IT, data processing) on database design and data collection guidelines and promote models into production

The candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving and analytical ability. The candidate should be strongly motivated and willing to probe into the technical details.

Preferred candidates will have prior experience and background in:

  • Health industry, outcomes research, marketing, credit card or consulting
  • Scientific or engineering disciplines
  • Graduate level degree in mathematics, statistics, or biostatistics, or econometrics
  • Expertise in study design and statistical modeling methodologies
  • Experience in employing neural networks, machine learning, mathematical/statistical modeling, pattern recognition, or other data mining techniques on real world problems
