We are looking for an Analytic Science team member in our Minneapolis location. The analytical modeler provides the intelligence behind Fair Isaac�s analytical solutions. You will use cutting edge statistical methodologies, such as neural nets, pattern recognition, decision trees, and other artificial intelligence to study customer data and create state-of-the-art predictive models and optimized solutions. The modeler works primarily on client projects focused on optimizing value for said client using the client�s data. Responsibilities can include writing reports and creation of presentations for interfacing with clients. The modeler may work independently or in teams, depending on the size of the project. Occasional travel may be required.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Ph.D. or M.S. in science or engineering field, with a focus on analysis of large data sets.
• 4 years experience in statistical data manipulation and predictive modeling (transaction or time series data preferred).
• Intimate knowledge of application of statistical modeling and data mining.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical reasoning skills.
• Extensive experience with Unix and languages such as Java, Perl, and C/C++.
• Ability to work in fast paced volatile environment.
