July 22, 2003: DEADLINE DATE FOR BIO, CISE*, AND EHR
For additional information, Frequently Asked Questions, etc., check the CAREER Web page http://www.nsf.gov/career. We would like to encourage eligible junior faculty to submit proposals and would like to ask the more experienced faculty as well as industry researchers to mentor the junior colleagues. Please check the information on the Information & Data Management Program (IDM) and the Data & Applications Security Program (DAS) at http://www.cise.nsf.gov/iis. Please note that the DAS Program does not have an open call for proposals, so proposals within the scope of the DAS Program should be submitted to the IDM Program. Bhavani Thuraisingham and Maria Zemankova will work together on handling the DAS-related proposals. We would like to receive proposals that have vision, are technically strong, include an innovative integration/symbiosis of the research and educational activities, and show a potential for broad impacts. It is important that a proposal motivates the proposed research, states the research challenges/risks and expected outcomes, includes a validation/evaluation plan, provides an integrated research and education plan for 5 years (with success milestones), and explicitly discusses broader impacts (e.g., human capital, dissemination and application of results, ...). For full details, see http://www.nsf.gov/career |
