London 15 September 2003 - Qbase Data Services Ltd today announce the completion of the first stage of a predictive analysis project for the Chelsea Building Society, using KXEN's predictive modelling software. Predictive analytics has been applied to mortgage enquiries, scoring and ranking enquirers based on their propensity to take out an application.

Qbase developed a number of models - utilising the KXEN modelling software - which included attributes from internal variables, captured by the Chelsea Building Society's call centre, and external variables from EuroDirect's CAMEO lifestyle classifications. Using KXEN, applications were also scored to predict the likelihood to take out a mortgage.
