ACM has recognized 30 of its members for their contributions in Computer Science and Information Technology. The 2003 ACM Fellows, from leading universities, corporations and research labs throughout the world, made significant advances in theoretical as well as practical computing that are having lasting effects on the lives of citizens throughout the world.

Among the new fellows, are two of the leaders of the data mining community:
