We invite proposals from senior researchers interested in editing a special issue for the ACM SIGKDD newsletter. The special issue should be on a topic of current interest and will typically comprise of five to seven (mostly invited) articles on the topic. At this time, we have slots open for the December 2004 and June 2005 issues.

SIGKDD Explorations is the official newsletter of ACM's Special Interest Group (SIG) on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining. The newsletter enjoys wide coverage amongst the ACM SIGKDD membership and a world-wide network of libraries. Previous issues of the SIGKDD Explorations are available online at
http://www.acm.org/sigkdd/explorations.

Please send a short para describing your proposed topic(s) to sunita@cs.iitb.ac.in. For the december issue proposals have to reach by June 16th 2004.
