A candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the data mining field, including contributions to applications such as customer relation management problems using corporate data. The candidate should have experience in application development, database design and tuning. Must be able to carry out a project independently, have skills in data collection, and have an analytic capability of converting business problems into a framework of data mining. Candidate will interact with internal clients, manage relationship, and provide regular reporting. The candidate will have a strong technical background in database, statistics, and machine learning.

Qualifications

• Strong DATA MINING Experience is required
• BS or MS in Computer Science data mining, preferably MS
• Project management skills
• The candidate should be proficient in SQL, familiar with commercial statistical tools such as SAS or SPSS and other data mining tools.
• Software development skills, object-oriented development - Java, C#, or C++
• Web development skills a plus - ASP, JSP, Java,
• Ability to install, configure and administer Oracle IAS and Discoverer, Oracle ETL or other tools to load data. Project management skills
• Database skills in design, performance tuning, data warehousing
• Oracle DBA experience a plus
• Knowledge of data mining algorithms, statistics, machine learning
