I've just made Microsiris (www.microsiris.com) shareware now that I've retired (CV at http://vaneck.us/Neal.htm) free to use. Except for graphical output, it's fairly comparable to SPSS and SAS in functionality plus extensive data management. It imports and exports data from SPSS, SAS, STATA.

It's also got some good stuff for business schools and marketing analysis, e.g., SEARCH (data mining), nominal-scaled data analysis.

My hope is make this widely available as an alternative for those who can not afford SPSS or SAS and those who appreciate the need for data cleaning and management. .
