Detroit, Frankfurt - September 10, 2004. Urban Science announces the version 7.0 release of the award winning data mining suite GainSmarts.

GainSmarts encompasses the entire range of the KDD process - sampling, exploration, feature selection, modeling and scoring. Its main modeling strength is predictive modeling, which includes a host of models - binary, multinomial, continuous and survival analysis. In addition, GainSmarts also supports cluster analysis and collaborative filtering. Setting GainSmarts apart from other data mining software packages is its unique automatic feature selection process, initiated by creating automatic transformations of the input variables to account for possible non-linear relationships in the data.

GainSmarts Version 7.0 is compatible with SAS 9.2. and is multilingual software available in English, Japanese and German.
