Job Overview
Poindexter Systems, a leading provider of real-time optimization
capabilities which enhance the performance of online advertising and
media campaigns is seeking a .Net Architect to work with our flagship
product, Poindexter POE. Poindexter POE uses statistical modeling
technology to leverage traditional direct marketing techniques online.
Detailed Description
- Work with Lead Programmer/Developer & VP, Information Systems on all creation & modification projects to support Web Development.
- Develop and deploy a manageable, scalable, reliable, and secure web-based application.
- Create information architectures whose hierarchies, groupings, and juxtapositions clearly present the information and functionality.
- Assess existing UI and functionality for relevance to core user experience and identify needs for new/revised UI or functionality.
- Architect and implement applications using Microsoft ASP.NET Framework and SQL Server 2000.
- Work with OLAP & Data Warehouse system on creation and modification of data cubes and queries to produce corporate & divisional reports using Data Transformation Services (DTS), and Analysis Services Reporting Services.
- Provide support of production readiness, rollouts, and on-going production support.
Job Requirements
- 10 plus years working with Microsoft technology
- 5 plus years experience within roles such as senior Architect, or Tech Lead, and performing the following activities (as both lead and within group):
- Information Architect Front end coding, design (using .NET tools, XML, XSLT, ASP)
- Back end development, design (using .NET tools)
- Database development, design (SQL Server)
- Experience with OLAP, service level measurement, and reporting
- Experience with XML, XSLT, and Microsoft software and tools including Windows 2003 (the services for Windows 2003 and how they interact with applications).
- IIS, .NET, SQL Server Application (transactional programming, state issues, tiers)
- Application admin and maintenance
- Quality (unit, system testing)
- Technical and process documentation
- Configuration, Change, and Release activities
- Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
The ideal .Net Architect will possess experience with the following:
Java/J2EE, Oracle database, Linux, and will have some knowledge of
online advertising and marketing.
