Responsibilities:
- Develop, model, integrate, implement and enhance our Data Mining Platform for our Student Persistence Project
- Work as part of a team to develop, channel and capture data from 80+ brick and mortar schools across the globe
- Build the predictive models to improve retention and graduation rates among those schools
- Assist in developing strategies, predictive models, process improvements and new automation tools to enhance the productivity and usage of data mining techniques
- Database development incorporating data mining technologies and processes as well as creation of new algorithms and techniques, data analysis and predictive modeling
- Design, specify and develop state-of-the-art machine learning/analytical modules for scalable Data Mining engine and applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Machine Learning or a related field
- High degree of technical and scientific expertise in core Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery technologies, including Machine Learning, Multivariate Statistics and High Performance Computing
- At least 6-8 years of experience in Data Mining and Modeling techniques
- 4-6 years of related Data Mining experience in an Educational Institution
- 2-3 years of experience with Clementine Software or SPSS tools
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
