This analyst will be working in the Direct Product R&D group.

The responsibilities will include:

1. perform advanced data mining and statistical modeling research into more accurate predication of insurance risks and customer retention.
2. research new product design ideas that lead to lower Combined Ratio and/or higher business volume.
3. provide analytical support to research Product Managers and state Product Managers.
4. provide consultation and training on data mining and statistical modeling in the company.

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in analytical field such as stats, math, economics, etc..
• Strong data mining and statistical modeling background.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of various software programs such as SAS, GQL and spreadsheets.
• Well organized and comfortable performing multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work well with team members.
• Insurance knowledge is a plus, but not required.
