Summary:
We are seeking a senior statistical modeler to support custom analysis and to contribute to development of our software platform though applied research. The candidate must have experience with modern statistical methods including linear and nonlinear regression and machine learning techniques. The position is located in Bellevue, Washington.

Requirements Brief:

• We require a hands-on analyst who is able to work independently with minimal supervision or assistance and take a problem from dirty data to final report.
• Significant experience with some statistical package (such as SAS, S-plus, or R).
• Ability to manipulate and work with large datasets using SQL, Perl, Python, or equivalent tools.
• The candidate must have sufficient experience to anticipate customer needs and suggest alternative approaches to data analysis problems.
• Masters or PhD in statistics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to develop a good verbal and written rapport with clients.
• Experience in the financial services industry (building behavior scores and scorecards) is helpful.
• Experience with text mining and/or time-series data is helpful.
• Familiarity with programming languages (such as Java or C) is helpful.
