Subject: Austin, TX: Senior Data Analyst at Austin Logistics, Inc
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis for the entire cycle of the statistical modeling projects with minimal guidance from senior team members, including:
- Data extract and data integrity investigation
- Data exploration and data mining
- Stratified sampling
- Statistical modeling
- Organize and present analytic results
- Document analytic results and technical specifications
- Work effectively in a team environment with all levels of the organization
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, deliver quality results in a timely manner
- Frequent communication with the client to obtain information. Present or assist presenting analytic results during course of the project.
- Identify new tools and process improvement opportunities
- Strong knowledge of new modeling technology, industry best practice and market trend.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years direct working experience with statistical modeling, optimization or other quantitative analysis fields using SAS programming.
- MS or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research or other related areas.
- Strong time management skills, able to juggle between multiple projects and deliver quality work on time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
