ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED MODELER WITH A STRONG CRM BACKGROUND?

Support Marketing's high level objectives for acquisition, retention, cross-selling, and profitability by identifying, designing, and implementing advanced analytic projects utilizing techniques such as statistical and algorithmic modeling. Utilize knowledge of these techniques in support of executive decision making and in support of Database Marketing strategy development.

Build statistical and algorithmic models in support of strategic Marketing efforts. Perform complex analysis of member and/or customer behavior in support of Marketing efforts. Collaborate with Product Mangers and Business Unit managers to identify and evaluate opportunities to utilize analytics to maximize marketing success. Design and manage advanced analytic projects. Present the results of advanced analytic projects to those in Marketing and in the Business Units who can benefit from this knowledge. Track and report on the performance of completed advanced analytic projects. Collaborate with the Director of Database Marketing in the development and refinement of Database Marketing strategy. Participate within various task force teams as the need arises and based upon experiences both within and outside of the club.

Position requires a Bachelors degree in Statistics or related field. Masters degree preferred. 3-5 years experience using tools for statistical programming (e.g., SAS or SPSS) and database querying (e.g., SQL or Microsoft Access) preferred. 3-5 years experience utilizing statistical techniques that are commonly employed in Database Marketing and Direct Marketing, such as logistic regression, multiple linear regression, cluster analysis, principal component analysis, discriminant analysis, and decision trees (e.g., CHAID and CART) preferred. Desktop computing skills and experience using one or more word-processing, spreadsheet (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and presentation graphics (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint) software programs. Demonstrated understanding of Customer Relationship Management theory and practice, including an understanding of segmentation, response modeling, and attrition modeling preferred. 1-2 years experience in experimental design & analysis preferred. 1-2 years experience in project management preferred. Ability to successfully communicate with Marketing managers to identify their technical needs and to communicate the results of technical projects.
