POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a Statistical Marketing Manager for our Database Marketing division. This qualified incumbent will deliver information based insights to the marketing efforts of Redcats USA through predictive modeling, strategic customer analyses and circulation optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of a Database Manager in Modeling & Segmentation are focused on predictive and/or forecast model development, data analytics, and customer segmentation in support of Redcats USA brand business. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor statistical models, including linear and logistic regressions and decision trees.
  • Conduct analysis to gain detailed insights and solutions to key business challenges. Serve in a consultative role in order to provide clear and credible solution in order to meet & exceed the expectations of the business.
  • Effectively analyze large customer data files
  • Partner with Marketing Brands to optimize Redcats USA circulation strategies
  • Use data mining techniques and analyze sales trends in order to improve customer retention and acquisition.
  • Solve key business challenges and drive accelerated business growth by leveraging data insights and coupling them with strategic thinking skills
  • Design, implement and analyze statistical tests to measure effects of marketing campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1 to 2 years of database marketing experience
  • Master's degree required (preferably in a technical/analytical concentration, such as Applied Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering or other quantitative discipline)
  • Experience with statistical programming tools (SAS, SPSS)
  • 1+ years of predictive modeling experience :
    • Variable selection techniques
    • Principle component analysis
    • Experimental Test Design {including Sample Size Significance Testing}
    • Time Series
  • Outstanding leadership skill:
    • Communication skills (written & oral)
    • Drives Results
    • Strong relationship management & interpersonal skills
    • Organized and detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
  • Current computer programming experience
