Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, prepare, and present key strategic quantitative analyses for the Paid Search Team. The focus will be on optimizing the keyword buys in our Search Engine partners (i.e. Google, Yahoo), with advanced analytics.

• Work with US and International business units to determine the optimal strategies or methodologies that maximize the Paid Search operation revenue and enhance user experience. Perform complex data analysis synthesizing multiple streams of data. Extensive use of predictive modeling and segmentation methods will be required.

• Partner with Information Management on the implementation and automation of derived Paid Search intelligence to support the global business operation using business application tools like SAS/SQL.

• Design processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential data issues. Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

• The candidate must show ability for executive-level consultations. This requires demonstrated skills in fact-based analysis, presentation, and interpersonal interaction that refine the Paid Search business plan.

• Work with a variety of cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives. Develop and manage relationships with internal and external partners.

• The candidate must also excel in strategic planning, project management, business analysis, problem solving, recommendation, and consensus building.

• Proficient using SAS, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of key financial calculations required. Proficient in statistical and predictive modeling techniques (Regression, Decision-tree, Cluster Analysis, etc.)

• Resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

• 5+ years of experience in managing highly quantitative and analytical projects with extensive experience in the field of Data-Mining and Quantitative Analysis.

• BA/BS in Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or other related field. Masters or MBA preferred.
