New software streamlines creating, managing and deploying analytical models

M2006, LAS VEGAS (Oct. 23, 2006) - SAS, the leader in business intelligence, will ship new predictive analytics software, SAS Model Manager, this November. Organizations rely on analytical models for strategic and tactical decision-making, such as estimating risk exposure, analyzing business strategies and determining optimal customer treatment in a competitive environment. As models play an increasingly important role in business processes, it is critical that management reduce the likelihood of erroneous model output or incorrect interpretation of model results.
