Role/Responsibilities
Work with a talented team of scientists and engineers to develop, deploy, and support state-of-the-art, data-driven predictive and decision models for solving business problems across financial, telcom, e-commerce and other industries. Develop and use various tools and techniques to gather, maintain, analyze, and understand client and industry data sets or databases of information.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Data gathering and maintenance
• Data extraction and cleaning
• Data quality assurance and reporting
• Data preparation for building predictive models,
• Package models for deployment and perform QA on model packages
• Pre and post model go-live data validation
• Periodic production model performance validation
• Retrospective scoring and model performance analyses on request
• Production and customer support

• Bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering, computer science or related technical discipline.
• Strong problem solving ability
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Unix and at least one major programming language such as C or Java.
• Must be detail oriented and meticulous.
• A statistical thinker and quick learner.
