Do you enjoy working on a high-performance team providing research leadership to help solve the complex marketing and product challenges faced by Microsoft's On Line Services Group? If so, there is an exciting opening in the Data Sciences team for a Database Analyst. The Database Analyst will perform standard SQL tasks including loading, archiving of data, and working with large click stream data sets from internal and external data sources. These data are complex data sets that show very detailed http traffic from individual computers and individual users of the Internet from third party and internal data sources, stripped completely of all Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This person will spend great deal of time in writing scripts (SQL, perl etc) to convert unstructured data to well structured data. This person will have degrees in Computer Science and/or Math/Stats graduate and as such the person recruited will have opportunities to develop their skills in Statistical and Mathematical modeling.
