Program Manager -- User Interface Analytics: Help design the search experience of the future through quantitative research! Tackle terabytes of data every week to assess user satisfaction, system performance, and improve the Search teams understanding of their customers. The ideal candidate eats stats for breakfast, and has a burning desire to decrypt user behavior trails to improve products. You will work closely with the product team and designers to make decisions about what experiences to build. Strong communication skills and ability to analyze and present study results is a must.

This person will help define and craft the experimental design and methodology of the a/b testing platform, lead data mining activities, and measurement of customer satisfaction. This role is heavily involved in user research, UI design, and UI validation at scale through split testing. A strong background in research methods and statistics is essential, from computer science, cognitive science, or related field.

You will also serve as a mentor to others on the team for performing statistical analysis. This position also has the opportunity to work closely with Microsoft Research to extract actionable interpretations from inherently ambiguous but hugely scaled user data.

Experience with analyzing logs of user behavior and using tools for large text file processing is a must. Familiarity with reporting systems and database expertise is a plus. Come help the Search UX team make data driven decisions!
