Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive standard credit scoring innovation and performance leading to globally consistent scores in 40 countries by 2010.
  • Establish and maintain standard commercial and small business predictive models for various applications such as prescreening, new account evaluation, monitoring and collections.
  • Develop and manage a high performing team of quantitative professionals (Applied Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research) in the U.S. and internationally
  • Oversee entire model development process: evaluation and acquisition of data, selection of appropriate statistical methodologies, model estimation, and product documentation
  • Establish testing and monitoring procedures to ensure that the new scoring products perform properly and are effective in meeting the identified needs
Key Requirements:
  • Ten or more years experience in managing analytic teams responsible for the design, development and implementation of risk scoring models and analytics. Including direct experience in developing credit scoring systems using large scale datasets.
  • Advanced degree in an applied quantitative science: statistics, econometrics, mathematics or related field
  • Familiarity with statistical/analytical software packages for both mainframes and PCs
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to design, manage and successfully complete complex analytical projects to produce high quality results under tight time schedules
  • Proven organizational and interpersonal skills to influence the organization and gain alignment from various business units
