Junior Professor / Post Doc starting from October 1, 2008. The position is paid according to the German salary level W1 (approx. 3400 EUR / month gross). You should have an outstanding academic record in one or more of the following areas:
The Junior professorship will be part of the Information Systems and Machine Learning Lab (ISMLL). The Junior Professor should participate in the projects and the infrastructure of the ISMLL, assist with the supervision of the PhD students as well as with attracting significant research funding. Requirements for application are an excellent PhD degree which has been acquired during the last five years, an outstanding academic record as well as teaching capabilities.
