We want to offer unmatched user insight and understanding throughout the eco-system, enabling the delivery of the right content to the right user at the right time in the right way. The Audience Intelligence capabilities will help Microsoft win both advertisers and publishers to our ad platform and provide critical input into Microsoft monetization engines.

A combination of Privacy, Legal and Regulatory concerns has moved online data collection, data retention and data usage practices to the forefront of the news today for advertising. Aiming to be the best in targeting requires us to be best at gaining end user trust, which in turn demands us to have superb user privacy management technologies. Our goal is to provide the deepest targeting available to online advertising and online services while protecting the privacy of the consumer. This value exchange is critical to the ecosystem of all online services and we are establishing a role of Principle Group Program Manager to lead our proactive effort in creating the framework and technology for solving the user concerns within the value exchange equation.

This position will interact with executive management and experts across the company to understand customer requirements today and create the vision and strategy moving forward. Candidates need to have strong communication skills within and outside the company as Microsoft proactively engages various constituents on its advertising privacy initiatives. This position requires a good balance of strong execution, strategic thinking, people management, and leadership skills. The GPM need not be the expert in privacy but he/she must be effective at bringing the experts together, driving executive decisions and results across a diverse set of stakeholders. With the understanding of privacy and online service market trends, the role will be responsible for the design and implementation of data collection and private profile management technologies.
