Cars.com, a leader in Online Automotive Marketing, is seeking a Quantitative Research Scientist/Engineer to research and develop nimble dynamic models using statistics, data mining, control theory, simulation, and time series analysis. This is a research and development position. Peer-reviewed publications and experience in machine learning, econometrics and search engines is helpful but not required.

Candidates should be self starters with good communication and collaboration skills, with a record of technical contributions. Candidates should have a post-graduate degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering or a related field, plus at least five years experience.
