Here at Bing we are innovating in new user experiences by providing them the means to access more relevant information faster. The Domain Relevance team delivers relevant content to the Search Results page (instant answers, related searched, web result snippets etc). The challenges facing the test team include innovating on verification metrics and methodology that accurately reflect all dimensions of user satisfaction and service operation.

Your focus will be to build a test strategy that tackles the above. You will work closely with your peer team in dev & PM and other teams in Bing to vet and finalize the strategy. You will be tasked with staffing and building a team that delivers on this strategy.

Qualifications:

• BS in CS/CE or related technical discipline required; MS/PhD desired
• 3+ years of test leadership/management experience at Microsoft
• Experience planning, designing, costing and scheduling testing for an area
• Outstanding leadership skills and good strategic thinking
• Strong communication skills; verbal and written
• Great problem solving skills and high intellectual horsepower
• Ability to perform system-wide root cause analyses and drive improvements
• Ability to perform detailed product risk analysis and drive mitigations and test strategy as a result
• Ability to drive improvements in stress, reliability, and performance in distributed systems
• Ability to influence and drive quality across teams, across disciplines, and across organizations
• Ability to perform system-wide root cause analyses and drive improvements
• Ability to collaborate with dev & PM teams effectively to deliver quality

• Knowledgeable in areas of Machine Learning, Cognitive Science, Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing, and/or Data Mining
• Well versed in Information Retrieval concepts and methodologies
