The Sam's Club Member Insight & Innovation team is responsible for helping our entire business understand what our members value most. We use that insight to inform business, marketing, membership, and merchandising strategies that create great value and service for our members.

Detailed Description
The Senior Manager of Data Integration and Management in our Member Insights & Innovation (MI&I) team is responsible to ensure Sam's Club has best-in-class member data strategies to inform member insight generation and dissemination.

The manager in this role is responsible to:

  • give business leadership to the data integration projects supporting measurement, analytics, and data mining efforts
  • design and implement processes to standardize quantitative marketing and insight integration efforts
  • manage business relationships with third party data partners toward best-in-class data strategies
  • guide innovation leadership to the processes and technologies that enable quantitative marketing and member insights
  • lead cross-functional teams to implement decision support strategies -- aligning resources from marketing, technology, membership, eCommerce, and external analytics and technology partners
  • inform and implement development and infusion of advanced measurement capabilities across the enterprise to accelerate the test-learn-modify cycle
  • develop and manage member insight knowledge management capabilities
  • attract, develop and retain the great talent
Job Requirements
  • Advanced degree in technical or quantitative field such as MIS, or significant work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years business experience in customer or marketing analytics
  • Experience in database marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), campaign management, or other large scale customer-centric environments
  • Strong skills SQL and SAS
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams
