Jon Irwin, VP at EarthLink Network (www.earthlink.net), says mining his customers' data has been helpful in determining whether customers are getting the telecom service they need, e.g. connecting on the first try? Others say that capturing the customer click stream information is of fantastic value and can verify how and whether advertising works. However, MindSpring Enterprises (www.mindspring.com), will not be analyzing clickstream -- and customers seem to like that.
