RESEARCH FELLOW
for a Data (Text, Web) Mining project
Seeking to employ a Research Fellow on a data mining project for a period
of 2.5 years at School of Computing, National University of Singapore.
The project involves the research, design and development of data
(including text, and web) mining tools and techniques.
Applicants for the position should have a Ph.D degree in Computer Science
or a related area and specialize in one of the following two
combinations.
Data mining (primary) + databases (secondary)
Information retrieval (primary) + databases (secondary)
Practical knowledge of database systems is a plus. Knowledge of web-based
technologies is also very useful. C/C++ programming is needed too.
Salary: S$45,000 -- S$65,000 per annum (US$1 = S$1.68 approx).
