We work in the fields of multimedia and intelligent systems. In our data mining group in Friedrichshafen we work for German and Swiss Companys (key players in the finance, car, telecommunication, airline, retail business) as an all-round partner (Data-Mining Consulting, Analysis, Software Development). Currently we are offering the following positions: - Internship (Praktikum) / Graduate (writing his M.Sc. Thesis, Diplomarbeit) starting from September (half a year) - Data Mining Analyst The first position is for a student who has already some knowledge of intelligent systems and strong interest in the field of data mining. Knowledge of Oracle, Java, C++ or CORBA is beneficial. The topic of work could be developing new methods in the field of data pre-processing, building a visualisation component for a web mining application or working on new algorithms in the field of data mining - all this on real world data. The second position is for a graduate from an university (Computer Science or Mathematics) with interest and knowledge in machine learning. Knowledge or work experience in the field of data mining are beneficial. The working field can be either in Software Development, Consulting, Analysis or a mixture of these. For both positions very good knowledge of German is necessary.
