Subject: P&G Uses Data Mining To Cut Animal Testing
Cincinnati-based P&G has eliminated some 80% of its animal
testing since 1984 while tripling in size. Some of that reduction is
from the substitution of human and animal cell cultures. But most of it
-- especially over the past four years -- comes from the use of
data mining, analysis and modeling.
