THE UNIVERSITY OF DURHAM DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
RESEARCH  FELLOW(S)/ASSOCIATE (S)/STUDENT(S) in DATA MINING

The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint Research
Fellow(s)/Research Assistant(s)/Research Students(s) to commence as soon as
possible to work within the newly established Data Mining group. The posts are
financed with funds from EPSRC and industry.

The successful candidate(s) will join an active research team located
in a 4 research- rated department (http://www.dur.ac.uk/~dcs0www) and
will be expected to contribute to one of the main foci of the
group's research work. These foci are the development of Data
Mining algorithms and/or techniques and methods and their application
to the solution of "real world problems".

Applications are invited from those with experience of Data Mining,
although a knowledge of Virtual Reality environments, BSP and /or C++
would be advantageous.

Research Fellow - salary in the range spinal point:1-8

Research Associate - salary in the range spinal point:1-8
