I have recently made available a bibliography on automatic feature
engineering (also known as constructive induction, feature construction,
feature extraction, bias shift, and several other names).  The bibliography
was compiled originally for my thesis work and has been growing ever since.
Because I am in the field of machine learning and data mining, most of the
papers in this bibliography are from those fields, and the work is
primarily symbolic and inductive in nature.
