We now have a ground-floor opportunity for an analyst to perform business research, data mining, and ad hoc research analyses. Will develop predictive models and segmentation schemes while working with the latest data mining technologies. Primary responsibilities include all aspects of research projects - working with internal clients to identify objectives, retrieving and organizing data, performing complex analysis, generating findings and recommendations, and communicating approach and results to clients, peers, and management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related fields, familiarity with multivariate analysis techniques, and computer programming experience (JCL and SAS preferred). Knowledge of data mining algorithms and techniques including decision trees, regression, clustering, etc. a plus. Research and/or insurance industry experience also a plus.
