Fair, Isaac is searching for a Senior Software Developer for its
Analytic Software group.  This developer will have direct
responsibility for major areas of software development (including both
design and implementation).  Most development work will be algorithmic
in nature, although some GUI development may be required.  This
developer will be a member of a team dedicated to building software
products that provide decision-making functionality primarily for the
eCommerce and Financial Services markets.

The Analytic Software group's technical focus revolves around
technologies from such varied areas as machine learning, pattern
recognition, classification, decision analysis, and Bayesian networks.
The group's charter is to develop state-of-the-art software products
that implement algorithms from these technologies.

A BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, with at least three
years of professional experience is required.  A graduate degree is
desirable but not required.  At least two years experience in a lead
technical and/or design position on a major software development
project is required.  At least three years of C++ programming
experience is essential, including experience with templates and
exception handling. At least one year of experience with the Microsoft
Visual C++ development environment is essential.  A working knowledge
of STL, Java, XML, COM and ATL is highly desirable, but not required.
Academic experience with machine learning, statistics, artificial
intelligence, or decision analysis is also very desirable.
