 This position involves the management of the Younology
 Ontological Categorization System.
 The responsibilities include  working on the design and implementation
 of a categorization scheme for digital assets.  In addition, the
 Chief Ontologist will manage and develop the
 ontological system as well as the creation of tools
 to perform automated classification.
 The Chief Ontologist will be a member of the technology
 development team, but will work closely with the
 professional services team in an advisory role.

 The candidate should have proven expertise in understanding and
 evaluating categorical hierarchy structures and subject
 classification. The applicant should have
 a background in Library/Information Science including subject
 classification or equivalent experience.
 In addition the applicant should have
 excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong
 overall computer skills.  Experience and/or
 interest in Artificial Intelligence problems are highly
 recommended.
