Duties/Job Description:  Senior programmer on the Profit Vision product.
Learn the product functionality and architecture and expected to be a
product expert.  Expectation to be groomed to take on leadership roles
within the team (must have interest in team leader or management roles).
Ability over time, with the acquisition of product knowledge, to lead the
design effort for selected enhancements.  Deliver quality code on time.
Required Qualifications (Experience/Skills): Experience as a senior
programmer and product expert in a vendor environment with another
accounting software or financial software package.  Eight to ten years of
application programming experience.  Hands on experience with applications
written in C and/or C++ language.  GUI design experience.  Extremely strong
SQL skills with either Oracle or MS SQL Server, ideally both.  Windows NT
(preferred) or UNIX.

Preferred Qualifications: (Experience/Skills)  JAVA applications experience
desired since new development will focus on this language.  Financial
application experience in the banking industry desirable, especially
knowledge of profitability systems.  Other skills that would be utilized are
Crystal Reports, Visual Studio and fundamental DBA skills to support your
own development efforts.  DB2 experience is a plus.   A small group of
customers or on an AS/400 platform, any experience with that platform is a
plus.
