SRA provides Knowledge Discovery Solutions for clients in a variety of
industries - banking, health care, and insurance as well as
government-to detect fraud and solve a variety of business
problems. SRA works with each customer to put in place complete,
end-to-end solutions that support functions including, data mining,
pattern matching, analyst exploration, visualization, workflow
management, reporting, data management and administration.

SRA Knowledge Discover Solutions is comprised of the following:

- Server based algorithms available on open system UNIX platforms
- Central relational database management systems (RDBMS) previously
  integrated with Oracle and Sybase Enterprise Servers
- Client side 100% pure Java application, proven on Windows NT,
  UNIX and other virtual Java Virtual Machines.

Job Description:

As Sr. Data Miner, serve as data mining lead on Solutions
Implementation team.  Responsible for the implementation and technical
success of data mining/knowledge discovery solutions for financial
services customers.  Includes data analysis as well as pattern
discovery and definition.  May also do some software customization to
support solution implementation.

Required Skills:

BA/BS or equivalent with 5+years of experience in the software
industry, 3+ years of experience with large scale data
mining/knowledge discovery/pattern recognition project with
implementing responsibilities.  Strong analytical skills and in-depth
knowledge of data mining/statistical analysis techniques; artificial
intelligence and /or pattern recognition techniques.  Must have
excellent customer management, oral and written communication
skills. Experience with relational data bases, SQL and data
manipulation.

Desired Skills: Oracle 8.x, Sybase 11.9/12, Java, C++, Unix,
Solaris. GUI/visualization tools, web application and/or client/server
architecture and design.  Financial services or fraud detection and
project lead/management experience a plus.

This position will support MANTAS customers (capital markets).
Therefore, travel to New York and other customer locations is a must.
