BOSTON -- Exchange Applications Inc. (EXAP), now doing business as Xchange Inc., and Net Perceptions Inc. (NETP) agreed to co-market each other's products.

In a press release Wednesday, the companies said the alliance will provide customers with an e-mail marketing system that combines Net Perceptions' individually personalized recommendations with Xchange's targeted e-mail delivery system.

Under the terms of the agreement, Xchange will resell Net Perceptions' Recommendation Engine on a hosted basis as part of its Application Service Provider, or ASP, system for e-mail marketing.
