Based in Cambridge, MA, Torrent Systems has been around since 1993.  We
have created a solution that dramatically improves the way B2C companies
forecast consumer behavior with a product that not only provides an in
depth analysis of data warehouses but can extract these values in
real-time.

We are currently recruiting for a Web Architect to Define, derive,
iterate a dot-com targeted data mining solution that initially
encompasses batch ETL, integration with reporting tools, third party
OLAP tools and Torrent Analytics that evolves to real-time integration
with content delivery.

Lead technical discussions with design partners.

Design, document and communicate the new and modified components to
deploy the solution.

Lead the development of these components and contribute directly in the
implementation through hands-on code development and test.

Verify and validate the detailed design of the solution.

Skills
 In-depth knowledge of web serving technologies, commercial web-content
providing operation; awareness of business analysis technologies and
solutions.

 Solid experience in developing solutions to complex problems and
decomposing the solution to implementation modules.

 Ability to articulate solutions both verbally and through specification

 In-depth knowledge of Unix, working knowledge of NT.

 Development experience in C++ or significant experience in multiple
  languages and C

 Working knowledge of Database concepts.

 Sense of urgency.

 Experience

 Currently in a technical leadership position where they are defining and
 designing solutions for a multiple developer team

 Demonstrated experience as an individual contributor in all phases of
 software product development

Probably 10+ years of industry experience
