Based in Cambridge, MA, Torrent Systems has been around since 1993.  We
have created a solution that dramatically improves the way B2C companies
forecast consumer behavior with a product that not only provides an in
depth analysis of data warehouses but can extract these values in
real-time.

We currently are recruiting for someone possessing the following
background:

Minimum 10 years experience in developing commercial quality software,
with at least 5 years in object-oriented system design, preferably
including Java, C++, and/or CORBA applications. Experience with parallel
processing systems desired. Good communication and interpersonal skills
are essential.

The successful candidate will be able to understand the business case
for a software system; work with customers, developers, management, and
vendors to elicit and understand the system's technical requirements and
constraints; develop a system structure that supports these requirements,
evaluating alternatives; design and document the necessary architectural
components, their properties, and inter-relationships; communicate the
architecture to stake-holders at all levels; and work with management to
ensure that the software design and implementation adhere to the
specified architecture.
